10th and 11th level 90s

Sunday Rothorin became 90 number 10! He and Os' alliance priest finally quested up the last little part of the level and then he got a bunch of gear out of his bank for both specs and did what any sensible fresh 90 does and went to Timeless Isle long enough to mostly complete the gear for both sets.
Now he just needs to finish up engineering and get some gems and he can go play with the Old Ladies when they need his help.

And today Laen finished up his journey to 90 to become number 11! He had a bank full of holy spec gear waiting for him and right out the gate he's at item level 492 which means he's fashionably geared and ready right on time for his date with SprYte's Roz for Throne of Thunder LFR tomorrow. He's even further ahead of the game than Rothorin because he already had a holy spec transmog all picked out and ready to go. Nothing too exciting, just a pretty plate dress. (I can't help loving this pvp set and of course Laen came along and ruined all of my hatred and refusal to transmog plate dresses because he insists that he likes them.)
He's got a little blacksmithing left to level but enchanting is maxed out and he's a good portion of the way through the amount of Shado-Pan rep he needs for the fancy ones.

11 level 90s! I wish I could say this meant I was anywhere near to having one of each class, but no: Three paladins, two monks, two hunters, a death knight, warrior, warlock, and rogue. I know what I like and it's probably pretty obvious to everybody else too. At least the 90 monks and hunters excuse themselves by being one of each faction, but all of my maxed paladins are horde, so far. I'll probably feel the need to fix that at some point.

  1. Congratulations! You have so many fine looking gentlemen! And three Paladin! I have yet to manage even one to 90. I think my paladin record was 45. I could use that 90 boost to get one but then I wouldn't know what to do when I got there, lol.

    1. Thanks. :D (They are a handsome bunch, aren't they?) I really like paladins obviously, but I can relate to not knowing what to do with things suddenly boosted. Laen got leveled almost entirely because I'd given Seish a holy spec when he got to 85 and then realized I had no idea whatsoever what any of the pretty shiny buttons were actually for. Now I know. :D
Maybe you'll just have to give another shot at paladins sometime. I'm determined to give shamans another chance, myself. :)

  2. Congratz on your 11 level 90s!!! That's no small feat.

And Tome, if you still have that baby Pally, grab a sword and board and finish leveling as Prot. It is tons of fun grabbing 7,8,....15 mobs at once and mowing them down as you quest/level! Go have some fun roflstompin' Azeroth!!!

    1. I did have recruit-a-friend for a few of them, so I don't think it's quite as impressive, but still thank you :D
I second the suggestion for going prot! Most of my lower level paladins (and there are more than I want to admit) are prot for this very reason. It's so much fun for questing. Nothing like being nearly indestructible.

  3. I never thought of that, all my attempts were as Ret. My little Dwarf Paladin may have to try that as soon as she can get the Warrior who stole her heirlooms to give her back her clothes!

    1. I love ret spec, don't get me wrong, but for just stomping around questing, I think prot might be even more fun. So much more margin for error. If I mess something up or overestimate how much will end up dead at Seish's feet by the time all his cooldowns finish...then there's about a 50% chance he's going to be paying the spirit healer another visit. Rim can fudge his way out of those situations a lot better. So I definitely suggest giving prot a shot when you get around to trying again. :D

    1. :D But your 90 raids. Mine don't have sufficient guildies for that, so after a while I just end up adding more to the roster. I do think they need more achievements for leveling multiple characters, though. Those people that have one of each class definitely deserve one!
